WAYNE COUNTY, OH - An Amish buggy was destroyed in a crash Tuesday when it was rear-ended by a man driving a car in Wayne County.
The man was driving a 2016 Subaru Legacy on State Route 42 near the Wayne County and Ashland County border when he collided with the buggy, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Three children and an adult were sent to hospital with serious injuries after a van rear-ended a horse and buggy near Woodstock, police said.
At about 10 a.m. Wednesday, police, Oxford County paramedics and Zorra Township firefighters responded to the collision on Road 92, northwest of Embro, the Oxford OPP said.

CARROLL COUNTY, IN - Nine people were taken to a hospital after a vehicle crashed into a horse and buggy in Carroll County.
The buggy was carrying eight passengers. Four were adults and the other four were children. All eight were taken to a Lafayette hospital with only minor injuries. The driver who crashed into the rear of the car was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

GREEN LAKE, WI - An Amish buggy with three people on board, including a 10-month-old infant, crashed into a ditch in Green Lake County Sunday, after the horse pulling the buggy was spooked by a truck hauling a camper.
The crash happened at about 3:15 p.m. Sunday on Highway 44 in the town of Manchester, the Sheriff's Office said.

LICKING, MO — Three people were seriously injured Friday evening after a two-vehicle accident near Licking.
A report from the Highway Patrol states the accident happened just after 6 pm on Route AT northwest of Licking, when the southbound pickup truck driven by 60-year-old Ronald Thomas rear-ended a horse-drawn buggy operated by 39-year-old Mattie Nunschwander of Licking.

GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH - Two Perrysville residents were killed in a crash early Sunday morning after their 2015 Ford Focus went off the road to the right, struck a guardrail and overturned into a ravine, according to a news release from the Wooster post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

TEXAS COUNTY, MO - A mother and her two children were seriously injured Friday night after a pickup ran into the back of a horse-drawn buggy in northwest Texas County. There's been multiple accidents in that same area, just in the past two years.

PRESTON, OH — A Canton man who allegedly struck an Amish buggy, killing a passenger in August pleaded guilty Tuesday in Fillmore County District Court to criminal vehicular homicide.
Connor Louis Keene, 25, pleaded guilty to three charges — criminal vehicular homicide-operate vehicle with negligence-under influence of alcohol, and two counts of criminal vehicular operation-bodily-harm-under influence of alcohol, according to court records.

WEST SALEM, OH - A West Salem man was injured and a horse was killed in a hit-skip buggy crash in Wayne County on Saturday night, according to the Wooster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The OSHP is seeking information regarding the incident which occurred at approximately 10:23 p.m. on State Route 301 near milepost 1 in Chester Township (Wayne County.) The scene was in the area of Northwestern Middle/High School.
