Sponsor the Amish Voice
The Amish Voice ministry could very easily be compared to Christian Radio, TV, and/or Internet broadcasting. It is also safe to say, at least in most cases, that it is by far the most profitable way of presenting an Amish family with the gospel, on a one-on-one basis. When an Amish family receives The Amish Voice, they are able to read it on their own free time, without pressure from another member of the community.
How many Amish households are still waiting to be adopted?
At this point, we have over 60,000 names and addresses in our database who have not yet been adopted.
How much does it cost?
It costs $.75 per copy to print and send out one copy of The Amish Voice to an Amish family.
How often is the Amish Voice send out?
Six times a year: January, March, May, July, September, and November
Can anyone sponsor the Amish Voice?
Yes. We have many different types of people who adopt households: Sunday school groups, churches, individuals, businesses, and families.
Can I choose which households I want to adopt?
You sure can. That is, as long as someone else has not already adopted your desired households. You can also send us names and addresses of your Amish friends and we will put them on the mailing list.
How many pages are in the Amish Voice?
It is a 16-page publication. You are welcome to see past issues of the Amish Voice. Click here.
How does sponsoring The Amish Voice work?
You can adopt a desired number of Amish households by covering for the printing and postage expenses. Some people like to pay monthly, while others like to be billed on a bi-monthly basis. Either way is fine with us.
We do ask that if you are being led to sponsor our Amish Voice, you do so with the mindset that this is an ongoing sponsorship. If your sponsorship ends, families that were receiving the Amish Voice will be discontinued. We try our best to avoid this situation at all costs. If you are interested in giving toward our Amish Voice but can't commit for the long term, a one time gift may be a great option!
How many households can I adopt?
Some people have adopted as few as 50, while others have adopted as many as 500. You can adopt as few or many households as you wish.
