Herman & Maryann Stutzman

July 5, 2009

Joe, This is Herman Stutzman from IN, I was reading your newsletter...

The Lord seemed to lay a message on my heart to share with you. If this would ever be a help to you, I hesitantly say this because I am not looking for a job, but I am actively helping people as I can, I am an ex-Amish minister and if this would help you in some way in helping people understand from an ex-Amish mans view point, where he came from and how he used to look at things, then how the Lord changed his heart, and how it got turned around and how he looks at salvation today. So they can get an inside view of a person that has been changed by God, and God only, there is nobody else involved that made this change but God.

If you want to use me, I am available, very humbly, I say this innocently but I have committed my life to the Lord to be used of Him if He wants to use me and he seemed to lay this message upon my heart to share with you that I am available. If you want to use me in some way when you are speaking to a group of people that are interested in hearing the inside story, the hidden life of an Amish minister, I'm available.

Somehow if you want to get together with me sometime and hear my story, whatever, then I am wide open to that. I don't go up and down our street and breathe it down people's throats, but I am willing to share and just so you know, I am not against the Amish people. I used to be very bitter the way they treated me but God has done other work in my heart to forgive them, so now I have such a passion on my heart to help people, if God so chooses to use me. If not, then that is ok with me. Praise God, I will still continue to serve Him in how ever way I can.

If you can hear my heart , good, if not then you can call me, we can set down and talk, maybe we can meet for breakfast sometime or whatever, I am from Indiana. And we will talk to you later, God Bless your ministry.

As a former Amish minister, perhaps you can assist me with a Sunday school lesson. I am teaching on varies religions and how their beliefs compare to scripture. I would like to know exactly what the Amish teach and how that compates to what the scripture says, especially concerning Jesus Christ, the Trinity, salvation, works, heaven, hell and baptism. If you could e-mail me and briefly explain the Amish beliefs on these subjects I would greatly appreciate it.Thank-you,Mary
