Amish Upset Over New Indiana Law

A new change in Indiana state law regarding alcohol sales has some retailers and members of the Amish community concerned.

As of July 1, anyone purchasing alcohol is required to show a photo ID. For religious reasons, most Amish refuse to be photographed. Lisa Ringger, the owner of one liquor store said that about 25% of her business is with Amish customers. Ringger says she even had to refuse an Amish man in his 60's because he didn't have a photo ID.
