Amish Man Is Charged With Multiple Sex Crimes

An Amish man from Curryville could face up to 32 years in prison for sexual-based crimes he allegedly perpetrated with at least five underage girls.

Chester A. Mast, 26, was arrested and charged last week following an extensive Pike County Sheriff’s Department investigation that continues. Sheriff Stephen Korte said a complaint originated from a member of the Amish community. The investigation has gone on for more than six weeks. Four Missouri victims have been identified as well as one in Wisconsin all of which are female and were teenagers or pre-teens when the incident(s) took place.
