The Ministry Team for MAP involves a group of godly men and women that meet quarterly each year, as well as when needed for special meetings. These men and women have clear salvation testimonies and are involved in various leadership roles at their home churches. They are sharp and very professional people. In some sense, you could say that these people are the very foundation of the MAP Ministry. and every one of them!

Don Morrison
President

Don Morrison is a Sunday school teacher, a cattle farmer, and a full time salesman for a large packaging firm in Ashland Ohio. His wife Rosie is a work-at-home mom; they have four children and several grandchildren. They have both been very influential in taking former Amish singles into their home. They also serve as Benevolent Fund Coordinators for MAP.

Wayne Vallowe
Vice President

Wayne works full time for a local missions agency and his wife Chris works part time as a nurse. Both of them are leading Bible studies as well as a prayer meeting for MAP. They have three children and several grandchildren. They have traveled all over the country, helping to present and update churches about the MAP ministry.

Carol Gess
Secretary

Jerry retired from working at General Motors and now works full time as chaplain of a large nursing home in Ashland. Carol retired from working as an administrator at Samaritan Hospital. In 1987 they gave Joe and Esther a home until they were able to get on their own feet. They have three daughters, three sons, and many grand children and great grand children; two sons have already gone home to be with the Lord. Jerry and Carol have always been very involved in the MAP ministry.

John Bouquet
Senior Pastor and Advisor

John Bouquet has been Joe and Esther's pastor since the day they left the Amish in 1987. He has also been very influential in making the MAP Ministry what it is today. He and his wife Sherry have three sons and one daughter. Pastor John has been with the MAP Ministry since its beginning in 2000.

Tom and Pat Thomas
Advisors

Tom and Pat are actively involved in their church and their local community in Ashland Ohio. They are part of the Shepherd's Adult Bible Fellowship Class Leadership and Tom teaches the class. They are also members of the Outreach commission and the Hospitality commission. Tom is a plant Superintendent at a Manufacturing facility in Shelby, Ohio and Pat is a full time Mom who volunteers her time at various Christian organizations, including MAP Ministry. They have two children, Jacob and Sarah.
