Simon Peter, thank you so much for your powerful update on Gerald's last hours on earth. The testimony of Kevin brought tears to my eyes. I read it out loud to my family and committed to them that I would try even harder to be the father I needed to be.

Gerald wanted to get his family out of the amish church before he died.. but his health went down so fast he was busy with trying to overcome his physical sickness.

I was so thankful for the opportunity to visit him and his family One of the last statements I shared with Gerald was,"Gerald, regardless in what condition your physical body may be.. from what you've shared on our Alabama Prison trip... I know that your soul is at peace and in good health."

Now that Gerald is gone.. Kevin has squared his shoulders and is wanting to walk with Jesus as he saw his father walk. He is only 16 yrs old, but he is telling Mom to come on, Dad wanted us to relocate and leave the Amish church... let's do it. (Sounds just like his Daddy!!)

Rosanna said,"I feel like we have gone on a long trip... and now as we return home.. Gerald should come walking in anytime."

We sure miss Gerald here!!
